Event and PR Manager

We Are Fit is a fast-growing Norwegian brand that develops, designs, produces and sells activewear. We are growing fast and are about to enter an exciting expansion. We are now looking for an engaged and creative Event and PR Manager to help take our brand to the next level.

About the role:

As Event and PR Manager at We Are Fit, you will play a key role in building our brand through strategic planning and delivery of events and PR activities. You will work closely with the marketing department and be responsible for:

  • Event planning and delivery:
    • Develop and run events, from small store events to larger product launches and collaboration events.
    • Responsibility for budgeting, logistics, supplier coordination and follow-up.
    • Make sure all events are in line with the brand's identity and goals.
  • PR and media work:
    • Develop and implement PR strategies to increase brand awareness and visibility in the media.
    • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers.
    • Write press releases, articles and other PR material.
    • Monitor media coverage and analyze results.
  • Influencer marketing:
    • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers to promote the brand and products.
    • Develop and run influencer campaigns.
  • Other:
    • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies.
    • Stay up to date on trends in events, PR and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education in marketing, communications, PR or event management.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in event planning and/or PR.
  • Experience with influencer marketing is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in Norwegian and English.
  • Creative, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Good knowledge of social media and digital platforms.
  • An interest in training and an active lifestyle is an advantage.
